The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Hodei got free with Tommy Lindblom in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Erubiel Paul came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ticucho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Paul couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Ticucho FC's Erubiel Paul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Lindblom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erubiel Paul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Lindblom having to make a save. Tommy Lindblom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Paul in the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Paul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Bonifacio Marino fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ycuha's protests and gave Bonifacio Marino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ycuha's Bonifacio Marino got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Tommy Lindblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ycuha's Tommy Lindblom tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Erubiel Paul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Erubiel Paul came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Ticucho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Paul couldn't finish the play. Erubiel Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tommy Lindblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Erubiel Paul cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tommy Lindblom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute Mauricio Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Lindblom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Lindblom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erubiel Paul went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.
