Andres Nisio kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Andres Nisio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Lambafoss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Cloyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ruben Lambafoss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Boni in the 17th minute of the match. Feliberto Cloyo struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ruben Lambafoss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabagasta AFC. If Prudencio Montrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prudencio Montrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantino Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Miro in the 47th minute of play forced NIBIRU's goalkeeper Ruben Lambafoss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Roldan made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Prudencio Montrell put in a rough tackle. A collision led to NIBIRU getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Prudencio Montrell hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Cristos got free with Ruben Lambafoss in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Sabagasta AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Santo Oihenarte hit a great ball. Ruben Lambafoss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Cloyo in the 62nd minute of the match. Alberigo Savini hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Alberigo Savini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Guaberto Jaizki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Lambafoss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Oihenarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantino Roldan charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantino Roldan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sabagasta AFC booed when NIBIRU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Roldan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Leonel Cristos scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Ruben Lambafoss who was too lazy, 0-1. 74 minutes into the match, NIBIRU's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Cloyo came free, but Ruben Lambafoss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Nisio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Jaizki having to interfere. If Constantino Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NIBIRU's Ruben Lambafoss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save NIBIRU from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle went the supporters of Sabagasta AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant NIBIRU side.
