Fulgencio Botello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Ariel Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabagasta AFC's Humberto Handi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Esteban Iratze but with some difficulty. Fulgencio Botello scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guaberto Jaizki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Delmiro Valiente's late challenge caught a Sabagasta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmiro Valiente helped the player get up and apologised. If Fulgencio Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Feliberto Cloyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabagasta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliberto Cloyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Iratze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When Fabio Miro fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sabagasta AFC's protests and gave Fabio Miro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Oniros FC booed when Sabagasta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Miro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Fernanco's late challenge caught a Sabagasta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. If Gabriel Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oniros FC made a substitution. Israel Cristofol replaced Gonzalo Loreto. After 70 played minutes Oniros FC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Cristofol. After 73 played minutes Sabagasta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Oihenarte. Oniros FC's Delmiro Valiente got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Oniros FC's Fulgencio Botello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Jaizki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 84th minute, Fulgencio Botello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oniros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Oniros FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
