To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, HacheAbajo FC's goalkeeper Domingo Estebano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Larra. In the 28th minute Ambrosio Baleren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Rioja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Domingo Estebano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Larra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Cecilio Jakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingo Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Baleren in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, HacheAbajo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, HacheAbajo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Baleren came free, but Domingo Estebano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. HacheAbajo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cria Cuervos the free kick. Santo Jerrold kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Alonzo Larra notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of HacheAbajo FC's Domingo Estebano. Domingo Estebano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilfredo Rioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Anastasio Montel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cria Cuervos had won after a very even match.
