The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolo Elia during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonides Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Eneto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Alfredo Piorno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Armando Theodore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rey Garufa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Rey got free with Leonides Mon in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Armando Theodore made a precise shot to the right of Leonides Mon. CHANGOS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A hard shot 32 in the game by Armando Theodore from a close distance when the talented Leonides Mon managed to make a qualified save. CHANGOS FC's players were relieved. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrique Millano to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Eneto in the 52nd minute of play forced CHANGOS FC's goalkeeper Leonides Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CHANGOS FC's Leonides Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Theodore in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Theodore in the 56th minute of play forced CHANGOS FC's goalkeeper Leonides Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Piorno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Alfredo Piorno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Alfredo Piorno got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bartolo Elia managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHANGOS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Elia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Endura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alfredo Piorno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. Rodrigo Endura was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Alfredo Piorno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfredo Piorno really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Leonides Mon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Theodore in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 minutes CHANGOS FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Armando Theodore who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Rey Garufa FC's Armando Theodore to fire away a dangerous shot which Leonides Mon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Filip Falkiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CHANGOS FC's Leonides Mon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Armando Theodore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Leonides Mon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Theodore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Mon having to interfere. Leonides Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Theodore in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the CHANGOS FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rey Garufa FC.
