Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fred Leite started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Libertadores de América's zone, Fred Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Marko came out of the goal and Fred Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Jaime Txatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaston Fortun hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Guaberto Dalmu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Full Metal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Dalmu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Fred Leite elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Benigno Camerino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Mendiko in the 15th minute of play forced Full Metal FC's goalkeeper Dan Rosén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Fred Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Marko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Marko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Dalmu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Fred Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-2 became the score in the 22nd minute when Fred Leite elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lázaro Eleder lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Full Metal FC! Gaston Fortun's late challenge caught a Full Metal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Fortun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Gaston Fortun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th match minute, Libertadores de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Fortun to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Libertadores de América defense, Fred Leite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Marko. The Libertadores de América fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Marko should have stopped the shot. If Erubiel Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Libertadores de América players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Full Metal FC were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Mendiko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Full Metal FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Txatxu. Erubiel Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Full Metal FC's Alonzo Delfino got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st match minute, Full Metal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Delfino to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Marko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Leite in the 64th minute. Dan Rosén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Mendiko in the 69th minute of play. When Fred Leite came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Full Metal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Leite couldn't finish the play. In the 81st play minute Fred Leite came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paulo Marko. 1-4. Fred Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. Full Metal FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
