The crowd rose to their feet as Colegio Ward's Ezequiel Sol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guaberto Jaizki. That made the score 1-0 after 39 minutes of play. Cipriano Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Cibran hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Colegio Ward's zone, Feliberto Cloyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Tulio came out of the goal and Feliberto Cloyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The supporters of Sabagasta AFC booed when Colegio Ward was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Azibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto Jaizki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ezequiel Sol went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Sabagasta AFC's Guaberto Jaizki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Sol in the 72nd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Sol notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sabagasta AFC's Guaberto Jaizki. Guaberto Jaizki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute, Ezequiel Sol made a precise shot to the right of Guaberto Jaizki. Sabagasta AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Cipriano Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Jaizki having to interfere. When Colegio Ward's Ezequiel Sol in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Guaberto Jaizki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Iruinea in the 93rd minute of the match. Ezequiel Sol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cipriano Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colegio Ward's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
