Constantino Roldan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, NIBIRU's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Fortun came free, but Ruben Lambafoss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Lambafoss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Mendiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Ismael Mendiko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Lambafoss. NIBIRU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Mendiko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Gaston Fortun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libertadores de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Fortun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Lambafoss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the game, one of NIBIRU:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ruben Lambafoss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Ortle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Lambafoss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Mendiko in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Erubiel Ortle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ruben Lambafoss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruben Lambafoss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Ortle in the 28th minute of the match. Paulo Marko made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Prudencio Montrell sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Mendiko in the 36th minute of play forced NIBIRU's goalkeeper Ruben Lambafoss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Erubiel Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Lambafoss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Lambafoss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Fortun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prudencio Montrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 played minutes NIBIRU got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Montrell. After 57 played minutes Benigno Camerino scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Ruben Lambafoss who was too lazy, 1-3. Ruben Lambafoss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Fortun in the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Ermegildo Celipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Libertadores de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Celipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Egoitz Ribeiro put in a rough tackle. After 73 played minutes NIBIRU got a freekick which was hit by Egoitz Ribeiro. Benigno Camerino might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruben Lambafoss. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Camerino ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruben Lambafoss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Mendiko in the 76th minute of play. Ruben Lambafoss made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Erubiel Ortle sent off a good shot on target. Ruben Lambafoss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Fortun, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Ortle got free with Ruben Lambafoss in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Libertadores de América's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
