Paulo Marko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 6 played minutes Libertadores de América got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Camerino. Gaston Fortun struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Domingo Estebano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Libertadores de América. A collision led to HacheAbajo FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Vladimiro Montrelle hit a great ball. If Ismael Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Mendiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Estebano having to interfere. Domingo Estebano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Mendiko in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Marcos Chinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Marko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Libertadores de América getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gaston Fortun hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Jaime Vellito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilfredo Rioja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erubiel Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Marko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Chinto in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, Libertadores de América's Erubiel Ortle made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Estebano was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ismael Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ismael Mendiko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Domingo Estebano. That made the score 2-0 in the 48 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ismael Mendiko was the one to do the kick off. Ismael Mendiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 59 minutes, Erubiel Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Libertadores de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Ortle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingo Estebano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Mendiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Mendiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ismael Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Ismael Mendiko notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of HacheAbajo FC's Domingo Estebano. Domingo Estebano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind HacheAbajo FC's goalkeeper Domingo Estebano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Libertadores de América's Ismael Mendiko got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Ismael Mendiko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Estebano was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Libertadores de América players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
