Joaquin Hibai was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Venancio Galo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Venancio Galo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Hustaz in the 17th minute of play forced Rey de Copas's goalkeeper Arnoldo Bautista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rey de Copas booed when Manada Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Bizen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Justino Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Leonardo Gaztea made a precise shot to the right of Arnoldo Bautista. Rey de Copas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 38 minutes into the game, Justino Bernard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rey de Copas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manada Juniors the free kick. After 38 played minutes Rey de Copas got a freekick which was hit by Justino Bernard. Americo Herena struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Arnoldo Bautista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manada Juniors. Arnoldo Bautista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Hustaz in the 41st minute of play. Delmiro Emesto's late challenge caught a Manada Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmiro Emesto helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 minutes, Anier Erramu made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Rey de Copas's Arnoldo Bautista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Americo Herena was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Manada Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Emesto came free, but Joaquin Hibai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Americo Herena hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Americo Herena did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Arnoldo Bautista 58 minutes into the match. In the 66th match minute, Rey de Copas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Emesto to maneuver through the defense. Manada Juniors's Joaquin Hibai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Iyan in the 76th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Manada Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Bizen. After 78 played minutes Rey de Copas got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Su. Arnoldo Bautista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Herena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmiro Emesto kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Americo Herena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute of the match, Americo Herena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnoldo Bautista was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Leonardo Gaztea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Arnoldo Bautista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Americo Herena notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Rey de Copas's Arnoldo Bautista. Arnoldo Bautista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Manada Juniors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rey de Copas throughout the match.
