Melquiades Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Demesio in the 3rd minute of play. Melquiades Fiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Amor in the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Santupea booed when Imperio del Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Ralondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicasio Ubelteso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Gizon in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute Pablo Demesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Fiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicasio Ubelteso came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Imperio del Sur's Benjamin Elazar. But to his dismay, Benjamin Elazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 29th minute, Emilio Sanduru made a precise shot to the right of Nicasio Ubelteso. Santupea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Pablo Demesio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Fiz was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Orlando Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ambrosio Amor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melquiades Fiz. Imperio del Sur's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fabricio Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santupea's Ambrosio Amor couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Imperio del Sur. Melquiades Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Panpili in the 42nd minute of play. Emilio Sanduru kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match, Ruperto Gizon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicasio Ubelteso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Samuel Dimas kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Laureano Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Ubelteso having to interfere. Imperio del Sur's Melquiades Fiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Imperio del Sur from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Emilio Sanduru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicasio Ubelteso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 60th minute, Ambrosio Amor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicasio Ubelteso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Demesio got free with Melquiades Fiz in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 74 minutes of play, Santupea's Ambrosio Amor made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Fiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicasio Ubelteso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Elazar in the 77th minute of play. Samuel Dimas kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Nicasio Ubelteso came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Imperio del Sur's Benjamin Elazar. But to his dismay, Benjamin Elazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Santupea's Samuel Dimas got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Bartolo Botello lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 91 played minutes Santupea got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Dimas. Nicasio Ubelteso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Ignacio Xacintu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Melquiades Fiz, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Imperio del Sur's Cesar Gorri got a free kick in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Santupea players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Imperio del Sur.
