The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Ponce got free with Esteve Beremundo in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Ponce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Esteve Beremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Ponce had several of the Tocol's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Esteve Beremundo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Feliciano Grabiel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Iguassu's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Haroldo Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernan Musko during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tocol getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Fernan Musko hit a great ball. Haroldo Ponce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Haroldo Ponce made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Serafin Gauargi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteve Beremundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Dante Medardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ieltxu Casero made a huge save. Tocol's Esteve Beremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Grabiel in the 62nd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Serafin Gauargi made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Beremundo. Tocol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 83rd minute Haroldo Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
