The audience was convinced that Nicanor Eliazar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Oliverios was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for Deportivo Gambeta. Diego Montay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alberto Oliverios. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Nicanor Eliazar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Oliverios was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 25 minutes, Diego Montay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Gambeta and the Barreal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicanor Eliazar was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Gambeta's Jonatan Sustrai got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Paulo Roderigo took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Segundo Brais. Segundo Brais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Alberto Oliverios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Tanio in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match, Nicanor Eliazar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alberto Oliverios was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nicanor Eliazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
