The supporters of Beyond FC booed when Tocol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Rayman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tocol's Celestino Normando got a free kick in the 14th minute. Cristobal Rayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beyond FC's goalkeeper Alonzo Pancho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beyond FC's Alonzo Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Rayman in the 21st minute of play. Esteve Beremundo was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Leonardo Urtsua capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonardo Urtsua really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornelio Vedillo during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cornelio Vedillo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Leonardo Urtsua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Beremundo having to interfere. Beyond FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ricardo Faron made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tocol's zone, Leonardo Urtsua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Beremundo came out of the goal and Leonardo Urtsua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Faron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Beremundo having to interfere. Esteve Beremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Urtsua in the 93rd minute of play. Celestino Normando struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Alonzo Pancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tocol. Beyond FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
