Benito Tipi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dida Martinez firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee gave Sesteadero FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fabian Goren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Futbol & Birras's Dida Martinez. 1-0. After 21 minutes, Benito Tipi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sesteadero FC and the Futbol & Birras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Celso Domeka kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The long shot by Benito Tipi in the 27th minute really tested Dida Martinez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 32 minutes, 傅常岩 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futbol & Birras and the Sesteadero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dida Martinez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Llorian in the 35th minute. Sergio Millano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helmut Laik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Tipi got free with Dida Martinez in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Futbol & Birras's goalkeeper Dida Martinez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Llorian. When Tomas Jakes fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futbol & Birras's protests and gave Tomas Jakes a yellow card for diving instead. Tomas Jakes kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some careless play in the Futbol & Birras defense, Cornelio Toribio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Martinez. The Futbol & Birras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Martinez should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Helmut Laik made a kick off. Helmut Laik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the game, Cornelio Toribio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sesteadero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futbol & Birras the free kick. A collision led to Sesteadero FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Futbol & Birras's Dida Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Toribio in the 58th minute of play. Enrique Beti hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Futbol & Birras's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Osorio came free, but Dida Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Millano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futbol & Birras. Helmut Laik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Llorian in the 97th minute of play forced Futbol & Birras's goalkeeper Dida Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Futbol & Birras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sesteadero FC.
