Paulo Roderigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ieltxu Casero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 29 minutes, Feliciano Grabiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iguassu and the Barreal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Iguassu's Feliciano Grabiel got a free kick in the 29th minute. Ieltxu Casero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Roderigo in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Iguassu got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Grabiel. Paulo Roderigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ieltxu Casero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute of the match, David Niva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ieltxu Casero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Niva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ieltxu Casero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Niva in the 57th minute of the match. When Haroldo Ponce came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Iguassu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Ponce couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Haroldo Ponce took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Alberto Oliverios to make any attempt to save it. In the 63rd minute, Haroldo Ponce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barreal's Alberto Oliverios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Gauargi in the 66th minute of play. Feliciano Grabiel got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience was convinced that Narciso Eufrasio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ieltxu Casero was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Iguassu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
