Jarimana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Ariando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeo Mederi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st match minute, Jarimana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Cresenciano to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Amancio Ermano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jarimana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Otumpa the free kick. A collision led to Jarimana getting a freekick after 63 minutes play.
