Club Atlético Libertador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Loi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Loi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tiburcio Eron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiburcio Eron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Loi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Muñoz FC's Elvio Unax was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Pedro Florinio lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 26 played minutes Club Atlético Libertador got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Florinio. Aurél Dobránszky made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Pedro Heriberto sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Godofredo Brun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Jakue struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Tiburcio Eron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Libertador. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godofredo Brun made a kick off. Dorel Şania kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Godofredo Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Muñoz FC's zone, Ignacio Mero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Eron came out of the goal and Ignacio Mero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elvio Unax's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Libertador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvio Unax helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Muñoz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Unax to maneuver through the defense. When Lino Jakue came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Club Atlético Libertador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Jakue couldn't finish the play. Elvio Unax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muñoz FC's Tiburcio Eron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Muñoz FC from getting a goal against them. Lino Jakue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Tiburcio Eron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Loi hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Rolando Fernandes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Muñoz FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Atlético Libertador for a fine match.
