Isidoro Telesforo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Ceferino Piorno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Trezeguet scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquiles Berto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The C.A Costa Azul fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when C.A Costa Azul's David Trezeguet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 22nd minute, Arturo Louis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Berto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 25 minutes into the match, C.A Costa Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Rocendo came free, but Maximo Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A Costa Azul's Maximo Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Ekain in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, David Trezeguet notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of MDB King's Aquiles Berto. Aquiles Berto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute, Tomás Sá ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Berto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Gregorio Hanni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Maximo Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Ekain in the 45th minute of play. Aquiles Berto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Ekain to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Tomás Sá notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of MDB King's Aquiles Berto. Aquiles Berto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th minute, Tomás Sá left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Costa Azul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Aquiles Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Dacio in the 59th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes MDB King got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Sol. After a defensive mix-up in MDB King's zone, David Trezeguet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Berto came out of the goal and David Trezeguet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquiles Berto made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Tomás Sá sent off a good shot on target. David Trezeguet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Aquiles Berto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ceferino Piorno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Aquiles Berto made a huge save. Eduardo Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Lauro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Sol in the 78th minute of play forced C.A Costa Azul's goalkeeper Maximo Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MDB King's zone, Arturo Louis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Berto came out of the goal and Arturo Louis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Sá blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquiles Berto having to make a save. Tomás Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Aquiles Berto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88th play minutes David Trezeguet shot 0-12, a short shot which went by Aquiles Berto and just under the crossbar into goal. When the final whistle sounded C.A Costa Azul left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MDB King.
