Ovidio Clodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Universidad Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Gaylord Pika had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidio Clodio. After a rather tough play, Aguita de Mancos's Cleto Perez got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Universidad Buenos Aires's Victorino Mon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adolfo Senio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aguita de Mancos's goalkeeper Adolfo Senio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adolfo Senio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Lander in the 28th minute of the match. Adolfo Senio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso Ekain went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute, Aguita de Mancos's Uriel Bixintxo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Uriel Bixintxo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Aguita de Mancos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Uriel Bixintxo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Aguita de Mancos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Universidad Buenos Aires:s goal. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Universidad Buenos Aires. Agustin Oskarbi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adolfo Senio. 0-3. Ciriaco Martinez charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Martinez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciriaco Martinez kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Ambrosio Lander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Senio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Ekain made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Micael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguita de Mancos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Universidad Buenos Aires the free kick. In the 51st minute, Gaudencio Micael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Artizar in the 53rd minute of play forced Universidad Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Gaylord Pika to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Aguita de Mancos's Ovidio Clodio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaylord Pika narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Universidad Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Clodio came free, but Gaylord Pika reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Universidad Buenos Aires's Ambrosio Lander ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adolfo Senio. Adolfo Senio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 67th minute, Flavio Artizar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aguita de Mancos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. With a little luck, Aguita de Mancos's Adolfo Senio got control of the ball when Victorino Mon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Aguita de Mancos's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Ekain came free, but Adolfo Senio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aguita de Mancos's Flavio Artizar got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Flavio Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Mon got free with Adolfo Senio in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Universidad Buenos Aires eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
