Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arnoldo Poncio kicked off to start the match. Teofilo Orti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Iruinea in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Gotzon in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Elorri saved Madariaga from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Anacleto Gotzon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Elorri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ambrosio Malvin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Madariaga's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Gotzon came free, but Leo Elorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Madariaga's Claudio Iruinea got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Madariaga's zone, Anacleto Gotzon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Elorri came out of the goal and Anacleto Gotzon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anacleto Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes of play, Madariaga's Segundo Koldobika made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teofilo Orti was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute, Arnoldo Poncio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester Champagne F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With a little luck, Manchester Champagne F.C's Teofilo Orti got control of the ball when Ambrosio Malvin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Poncio in the 42nd minute of play forced Madariaga's goalkeeper Leo Elorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Anacleto Gotzon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Manchester Champagne F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Iruinea came free, but Teofilo Orti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Claudio Iruinea made the kick off in the second half. If Arnoldo Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudio Iruinea charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Iruinea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Manchester Champagne F.C booed when Madariaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Iruinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Anacleto Gotzon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 66th play minute Anacleto Gotzon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leo Elorri. 2-4. Arnoldo Poncio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Arnoldo Poncio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Madariaga's Leo Elorri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Poncio in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th play minute Anacleto Gotzon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leo Elorri. 2-5. 84 minutes into the match, Madariaga's goalkeeper Leo Elorri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Gotzon. Anacleto Gotzon struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Leo Elorri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester Champagne F.C. After 96 played minutes Arnoldo Poncio rounded Madariaga's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-6.
