Gaston Urbez might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Ekialde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Urbez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th match minute, Ranchitos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Urbez to maneuver through the defense. Arnoldo Kaiet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bento Cahyono Putro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Gimnasia y Esgrima LP got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Beliran. Bento Cahyono Putro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Tadzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bento Cahyono Putro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Kaiet in the 15th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Desiderio Anaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranchitos F.C and the Gimnasia y Esgrima LP players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Kaiet in the 25th minute of play forced Ranchitos F.C's goalkeeper Bento Cahyono Putro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Børre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Ekialde having to interfere. Eduardo Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esquipula Pujol, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Gaston Urbez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bento Cahyono Putro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Kaiet, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Gaston Urbez hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Desiderio Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnoldo Kaiet to strike the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Ekialde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Anaya in the 52nd minute. With his leg Eduardo Ekialde managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Ranchitos F.C's Desiderio Anaya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 53rd minute Rafael Børre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Cecilio Tadzio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ranchitos F.C's Bento Cahyono Putro. Bento Cahyono Putro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute, Arnoldo Kaiet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia y Esgrima LP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Rolando Gervaso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Cahyono Putro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ranchitos F.C's Constantino Clemencin got a free kick in the 71st minute. 3-1 came in the 76th minute when Cecilio Tadzio all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Bento Cahyono Putro. Constantino Clemencin made in the 81st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gaston Urbez immediately put the ball in play. Enrique Beliran kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Gimnasia y Esgrima LP's Cecilio Tadzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bento Cahyono Putro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severiano Iratze during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gimnasia y Esgrima LP! Rafael Børre walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 93rd minute Humberto Confesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bento Cahyono Putro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Constantino Clemencin in the 96th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gimnasia y Esgrima LP's Enrique Beliran. 97 minutes into the game, Humberto Confesor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gimnasia y Esgrima LP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ranchitos F.C the free kick. A collision led to Gimnasia y Esgrima LP getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Humberto Confesor hit a great ball.
