After a defensive mix-up in Congreso's zone, Rafael Børre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Oro came out of the goal and Rafael Børre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ranchitos F.C booed when Congreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Peru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Benicio Eliazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bento Cahyono Putro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rafael Børre sped through Congreso's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnoldo Oro.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Segundo Tab made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Rafael Børre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Oro was relentless in the 78th minute of the game.
