Spectators: 7340 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arnoldo Poncio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eduardo Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Gotzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnoldo Poncio during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cecilio Tadzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Gimnasia y Esgrima LP defense, Arnoldo Poncio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Ekialde. The Gimnasia y Esgrima LP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Ekialde should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Arnoldo Poncio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th match minute, Gimnasia y Esgrima LP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Beliran to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Txurio hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Fidel Caradaro kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Eduardo Ekialde came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester Champagne F.C's Arnoldo Poncio. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Poncio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Arnoldo Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester Champagne F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Poncio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Ekialde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 minutes of play, Manchester Champagne F.C's Anacleto Gotzon made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Ekialde was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Arnoldo Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anacleto Gotzon during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gimnasia y Esgrima LP booed when Manchester Champagne F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Kaiet made a kick off. Cecilio Tadzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gimnasia y Esgrima LP's Eduardo Ekialde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Gimnasia y Esgrima LP from getting a goal against them. Cecilio Tadzio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Anacleto Gotzon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Ekialde was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Anacleto Gotzon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eduardo Ekialde firmly grabbed it by the left post. Teofilo Orti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Soin in the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y Esgrima LP's goalkeeper Eduardo Ekialde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Gotzon. Eduardo Ekialde made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Anacleto Gotzon sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anacleto Gotzon got free with Eduardo Ekialde in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 85 minutes of play, Manchester Champagne F.C's Anacleto Gotzon made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Ekialde was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfredo Txurio made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Albino Obano.
