Denis Sotil came out of the goal and Anacleto Gotzon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Denis Sotil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Poncio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Denis Sotil. Arnoldo Poncio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Anacleto Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Denis Sotil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match, Anacleto Gotzon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Denis Sotil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 26th minute Anacleto Gotzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, KRAKEN A.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Orkatz to maneuver through the defense. Denis Sotil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Poncio in the 28th minute. When Arnoldo Poncio came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Manchester Champagne F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Poncio couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Manchester Champagne F.C booed when KRAKEN A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Estebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Poncio in the 44th minute of play forced KRAKEN A.C.'s goalkeeper Denis Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Gotzon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 45th playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Poncio made a kick off. Manchester Champagne F.C's Arnoldo Poncio got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the KRAKEN A.C. defense, Arnoldo Poncio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Sotil. The KRAKEN A.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Sotil should have stopped the shot. A collision led to KRAKEN A.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mariano Lluis hit a great ball. Arnoldo Poncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Sotil having to interfere. When Arnoldo Poncio came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Manchester Champagne F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Poncio couldn't finish the play. Arnoldo Poncio struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Denis Sotil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester Champagne F.C. Manchester Champagne F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
