Gilberto Sal hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lepra's Tiburcio Intxixu got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute of the match Gilberto Sal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Etxeberri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th minute Andres Txilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Etxeberri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Txilar in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Jacobo Montrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Arnalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Andres Txilar notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lepra's Aldo Etxeberri. Aldo Etxeberri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Modesto Furman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ulises Rosio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Txilar in the 32nd minute of play. Modesto Furman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Melchor Arnalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Furman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Arnalt having to interfere. TALLERES's Melchor Arnalt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save TALLERES from getting a goal against them. Modesto Furman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Lepra were furious when Matias Teodor was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Feliberto Barbosa hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Feliberto Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Melchor Arnalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Etxeberri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Salvidor in the 70th minute. After 72 played minutes Lepra got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Uhin. In the 73rd minute Andres Txilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Garci, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. TALLERES's Andres Txilar got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Lepra defense, Victorino Rumaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Etxeberri. The Lepra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Etxeberri should have stopped the shot. Although Lepra had been in control for most of the match, TALLERES still came away with the win.
