Siro Fertus ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Checa in the 11th minute of play forced Desperado F.C.'s goalkeeper Sorin Onitiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sorin Onitiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desperado F.C.'s Sorin Onitiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Checa in the 22nd minute of play. Aureliano Eufrasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes, Siro Fertus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ACADEMICOS FC and the Desperado F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, ACADEMICOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Fertus to maneuver through the defense. If Siro Fertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Silvio Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACADEMICOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Checa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Desperado F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ACADEMICOS FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvio Checa to make the kick off. Florentino Abecia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Eufrasio in the 52nd minute of play. Desperado F.C.'s Sorin Onitiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Desperado F.C. from getting a goal against them. If Siro Fertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Silvio Checa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Onitiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match, Siro Fertus got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sorin Onitiu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Niceto Gergori kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Checa in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sorin Onitiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Desperado F.C.'s goalkeeper Sorin Onitiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to ACADEMICOS FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Teodoro Mirande hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Miguel Orland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Abecia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the ACADEMICOS FC defense, Aureliano Eufrasio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florentino Abecia. The ACADEMICOS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florentino Abecia should have stopped the shot. Apolo Inocente's late challenge caught a Desperado F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apolo Inocente helped the player get up and apologised. Miguel Orland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Florentino Abecia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes ACADEMICOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Etxeberri. Florentino Abecia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Eufrasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Silvio Checa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
