Pintura integral's Rene Medero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Pintura integral from getting a goal against them. After 82 played minutes Pintura integral got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Godoy. 83 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Hug was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pintura integral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pidagasan the free kick. Arnaldo Cordeara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Dominguez in the 85th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Godoy got free with Arnaldo Cordeara in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Godoy in the 91st minute of play forced Pidagasan's goalkeeper Arnaldo Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pintura integral's Fulgencio Cordeiro got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Fulgencio Cordeiro off the ground. After 95 played minutes Pintura integral got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Cordeiro. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pidagasan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pintura integral had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
