The referee showed Delmiro Emeterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Delmiro Emeterio hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Modesto Cordara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Leonardo Rufo made a huge save. With a little luck, Catulo Castillo's Leonardo Rufo got control of the ball when Modesto Cordara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ambrosio Gartzi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Modesto Cordara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Leonardo Rufo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Delmiro Emeterio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Catulo Castillo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Modesto Cordara 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Leonardo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Haimar in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Modesto Cordara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Cesar Elizardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Abastas. ArTifon juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesar Elizardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aristides Quentin was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Alejandro Haimar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alberto Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Quentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Modesto Cordara came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the ArTifon juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Cordara couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Catulo Castillo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ArTifon juniors.
