Javier Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Sebastian Marcones threw the ball into play from the sideline. Catulo Castillo's Aristides Quentin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Leonardo Rufo made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Timoteo Cresconio sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Quilaquina getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Emanuel Sal hit a great ball. Leonardo Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Flores in the 30th minute of the match. Timoteo Cresconio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Emanuel Sal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quilaquina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catulo Castillo the free kick. Emanuel Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Cleto Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Quentin in the 38th minute of play. Aristides Quentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cleto Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Catulo Castillo's Cesar Elizardo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Leonardo Rufo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oscar Flores showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. After 47 minutes, Oscar Flores mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quilaquina and the Catulo Castillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oscar Flores hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Catulo Castillo's Aristides Quentin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sebastian Marcones, made in the 80th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Aristides Quentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd match minute, Quilaquina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Evis to maneuver through the defense.
