Hugo Argoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Frasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Justino Ordono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Miro in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Gavino Miro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Blas Beat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justino Ordono was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 9th minute Marcelo Evarado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Argoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nueva Luna's Eloy Dalmai got a free kick in the 9th minute. Blas Beat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Abbott AFC's Justino Ordono got control of the ball when Gavino Miro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gavino Miro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Justino Ordono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gavino Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blas Beat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavino Miro struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Justino Ordono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nueva Luna. In the 26th minute, Nueva Luna's Blas Beat dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Abbott AFC's zone, Gavino Miro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Ordono came out of the goal and Gavino Miro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Blas Beat came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Nueva Luna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Beat couldn't finish the play. Justino Ordono came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Nueva Luna's Gavino Miro. But to his dismay, Gavino Miro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Eleuterio Maria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Nueva Luna's Gavino Miro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Ordono narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nueva Luna's Blas Beat got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justino Ordono made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eloy Dalmai in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Blas Beat made the kick off in the second half. Hugo Argoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Frasco in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Nueva Luna's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Frasco came free, but Hugo Argoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rdth minute of the game Roman Frasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nueva Luna's Hugo Argoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eleuterio Maria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abbott AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloy Dalmai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Gavino Miro scored 5-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justino Ordono, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Beat in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justino Ordono saved Abbott AFC from getting behind. Jaime Argina kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Hugo Argoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Frasco in the 91st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Abbott AFC defense, Eloy Dalmai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justino Ordono. The Abbott AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justino Ordono should have stopped the shot.
