Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roman Frasco started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Roman Frasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Rufo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Catulo Castillo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ambrosio Gartzi hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Catulo Castillo's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Jatsu came free, but Leonardo Rufo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marcelo Evarado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Abbott AFC's Marcelo Evarado in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Catulo Castillo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute of the match Abbott AFC got a corner. Catulo Castillo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuel Jatsu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Samuel Jatsu made a great header on Abbott AFC's corner, it was just that Catulo Castillo's Leonardo Rufo managed to reach the ball for a save. After 17 played minutes Abbott AFC got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Salomone. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Frasco in the 19th minute of play forced Catulo Castillo's goalkeeper Leonardo Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Elizardo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justino Ordono prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abbott AFC's Roman Frasco got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justino Ordono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Elizardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Cesar Elizardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Amor during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Catulo Castillo booed when Abbott AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Amor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Elizardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Justino Ordono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Llorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gabriel Amor made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Catulo Castillo's Delmiro Emeterio. 37 minutes into the match, Abbott AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Elizardo came free, but Justino Ordono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Elizardo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Elizardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Catulo Castillo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Roman Frasco 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Leonardo Rufo was a little too slow when Roman Frasco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 46 played minutes Abbott AFC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Venceslas.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cesar Elizardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Evarado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Rufo having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Catulo Castillo's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Frasco came free, but Leonardo Rufo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes Catulo Castillo got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Elizardo. A sloppy throw-in by Gabriel Amor in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Catulo Castillo's Delmiro Emeterio. In the 63rd minute, Cesar Elizardo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Justino Ordono, passed just outside the right post. Basilio Venceslas made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Catulo Castillo's Adrian Llorian. After a defensive mix-up in Abbott AFC's zone, Cesar Elizardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Ordono came out of the goal and Cesar Elizardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeo Chuan hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Adrian Llorian kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Leonardo Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Sotero, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Roman Frasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Leonardo Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Salomone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes, Roman Frasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abbott AFC and the Catulo Castillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santos Millan kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Abbott AFC's Samuel Jatsu got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, Catulo Castillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Llorian to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Roman Frasco sped through Catulo Castillo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonardo Rufo. After a rather tough play, Catulo Castillo's Santos Millan got a free kick in the 96th minute. Samuel Jatsu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Abbott AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
