In the 17th minute, Witalis Mleczewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Tigre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Pedro Lore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Anibal Nesto made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Mleczewski in the 25th minute of play forced Apóstoles's goalkeeper Alejo Fraco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Nesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Rodriguez in the 28th minute of the match. Pedro Lore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Anibal Nesto made a huge save. After some careless play in the Apóstoles defense, Witalis Mleczewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Fraco. The Apóstoles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Fraco should have stopped the shot. Anibal Nesto made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Pedro Lore sent off a good shot on target. Gaspar Kaiet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Anibal Nesto made a huge save. Anibal Nesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Lore in the 39th minute of the match. Alejo Fraco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witalis Mleczewski's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnulfo Astigar to make the kick off. Club Atlético Tigre's Witalis Mleczewski got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 52nd match minute, Apóstoles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Kaiet to maneuver through the defense. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Alejo Fraco as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 66th match minute, Apóstoles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Incendio to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Maidana in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Apóstoles's goalkeeper Alejo Fraco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Cerilo. Isidro Gagriel's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Tigre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Gagriel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Apóstoles's Isidro Gagriel got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 78th minute Pedro Lore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Atlético Tigre booed when Apóstoles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witalis Mleczewski struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Alejo Fraco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Tigre. In the 92nd minute, Pascual Cerilo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
