Baldomiro Laffitte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Blasi in the 37th minute of the match. Leonides Blasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldomiro Laffitte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Blasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonides Blasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Laffitte having to interfere. If Adan Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Eusebio Truylos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Leonides Blasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Baldomiro Laffitte made a huge save. In the 60th minute Leonides Blasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Laffitte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rumioj FC booed when Cayuqueo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Ireno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 minutes of play, Cayuqueo FC's Alvaro Cordario made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Itzaina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baldomiro Laffitte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Blasi in the 95th minute of the match. Adan Gimenez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Baldomiro Laffitte made a huge save. When the match was over Rumioj FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cayuqueo FC throughout the match.
