The supporters of Club Atlético Tigre booed when Daireaux FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Librado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Gallardo in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Gallardo in the 17th minute of play forced Daireaux FC's goalkeeper Jonatan Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Marcelo Gallardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Tigre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Tigre's goalkeeper Anibal Nesto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Danel. Jonatan Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Mleczewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Serafino Peyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Godfredo Eli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Tigre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Daireaux FC the free kick. In the 29th minute, Pastor Danel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aytaç Erbay hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes, Daireaux FC's Oscar Xabel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anibal Nesto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Daireaux FC reached it. 44 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Tigre's goalkeeper Anibal Nesto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Joanes.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pastor Danel was the one to do the kick off. Marcelo Gallardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Esiquio having to interfere. With a little luck, Daireaux FC's Jonatan Esiquio got control of the ball when Marcelo Gallardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anibal Nesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Xabel in the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Marcelo Gallardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonatan Esiquio. Daireaux FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Gallardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 69 minutes into the match, Daireaux FC's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Mleczewski came free, but Jonatan Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot was a little too simple and Jonatan Esiquio could save by the left post. Mariano Gregory kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Daireaux FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Witalis Mleczewski 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Jonatan Esiquio made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Marcelo Gallardo sent off a good shot on target. Club Atlético Tigre were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Daireaux FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aureliano Arias took the corner. Club Atlético Tigre's Aureliano Arias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonatan Esiquio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 87th minute Pastor Danel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Daireaux FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Peyo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Danel in the 92nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Tigre's goalkeeper Anibal Nesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Daireaux FC's Serafino Peyo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anibal Nesto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Atlético Tigre walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
