When Domingo Joanes came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Daireaux FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Joanes couldn't finish the play. 4 minutes into the game, Daireaux FC's Domingo Joanes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Cai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Brunito FC booed when Daireaux FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Serafino Peyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Pastor Danel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Cai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Pastor Danel put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Cai. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pastor Danel in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Cai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Serafino Peyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Daireaux FC got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Rozarius. Amadeo Criston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Domingo Joanes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Lucas Cai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brunito FC's attentive Eulalio Evangelista managed to snatch the ball when Santo Ospin made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Brunito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Joanes came free, but Lucas Cai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafino Peyo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Cai. Lucas Cai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Lucas Cai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Peyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Amadeo Criston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brunito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Daireaux FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Brunito FC's Amadeo Criston got a free kick in the 38th minute. Lucas Cai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Danel in the 42nd minute of play. Pastor Danel took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Cai. Lucas Cai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pastor Danel made a kick off. With a little luck, Brunito FC's Lucas Cai got control of the ball when Camilo Rozarius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucas Cai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Peyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Joanes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Lucas Cai made a huge save. A collision led to Brunito FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Amancio Jaen hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Pastor Danel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Cai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Pastor Danel sped through Brunito FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Cai. 74 minutes into the match, Brunito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Peyo came free, but Lucas Cai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Amadeo Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Danel got free with Lucas Cai in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daireaux FC's Alvaro Lohitzun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lucas Cai in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 85 minutes into the match, Brunito FC's goalkeeper Lucas Cai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Joanes. Lucas Cai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Danel went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the game, Jaime Frans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Daireaux FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
