After 34 played minutes, Club Atlético Tigre's Aureliano Arias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alejo Fraco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Tigre reached it. With a little luck, Apóstoles's Alejo Fraco got control of the ball when Pascual Cerilo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Witalis Mleczewski made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Tigre's goalkeeper Anibal Nesto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Lore. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Apóstoles walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
