In the 3rd minute, Tomasz Huchro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 9 de Diciembre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gaston Atarratze hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, Club Atlético Pikin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Peru to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético Pikin's Manfredo Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Huchro in the 8th minute of play. Tomasz Huchro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Manfredo Vander made a huge save. Manfredo Vander made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Amado Lider sent off a good shot on target. When Amado Lider came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the 9 de Diciembre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Lider couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Club Atlético Pikin's Manfredo Vander got control of the ball when Tomasz Huchro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Pikin's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Huchro came free, but Manfredo Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomasz Huchro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Generoso Iztal fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Pikin's protests and gave Generoso Iztal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Pikin's Generoso Iztal got a free kick in the 26th minute. Tomasz Huchro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute Tomasz Huchro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfredo Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Genaro Peru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Pikin's Amadeo Rius got a free kick in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Froilan Lain made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Pikin's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Huchro came free, but Manfredo Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The 9 de Diciembre fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when 9 de Diciembre's Tomasz Huchro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Pål Säv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amado Lider took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manfredo Vander. Manfredo Vander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Manfredo Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Huchro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomasz Huchro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Pikin's goalkeeper Manfredo Vander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Genaro Peru hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Tomasz Huchro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manfredo Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomasz Huchro, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Amado Lider ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manfredo Vander was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Tomasz Huchro took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manfredo Vander. Manfredo Vander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. There was no doubt that 9 de Diciembre were the better team. 9 de Diciembre's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
