Spectators: 7365 (Terracing: 5526, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Higinio Gustau kicked off to start the match. Javier Raphael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Lain in the 7th minute of play. Higinio Gustau kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Club Atlético Boedo's Javier Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Lain in the 13th minute of play. Manfredo Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Gustau in the 18th minute of the match. Manfredo Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Marcones in the 22nd minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, Club Atlético Boedo's Baltasar Juvenal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manfredo Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Lain in the 31st minute of play forced Club Atlético Boedo's goalkeeper Javier Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Lain scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Raphael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Gaizko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Javier Raphael made a huge save. 39 minutes into the game, Froilan Lain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Javier Raphael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Froilan Lain received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Javier Raphael came out and tried to block the shot, but Froilan Lain slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Froilan Lain to strike the kick off in the second half. Froilan Lain took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Javier Raphael. Javier Raphael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 59 played minutes Club Atlético Pikin got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Peru. A hard shot by Oscar Ostots from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Manfredo Vander's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Serafino Peyo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Club Atlético Pikin getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Amadeo Rius hit a great ball. When Froilan Lain came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Club Atlético Pikin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Lain couldn't finish the play. Javier Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Javiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Club Atlético Boedo's Anastasio Cuartio got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Froilan Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Iztal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Raphael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Javiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Pikin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
