After 40 minutes, Joaquin Estavan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the bocaneco fc and the Mogotes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Lorenzo Lore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Mannie was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Nunez Lohitzun was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. In the 46th minute, Nunez Lohitzun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Lore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Lore couldn't finish the play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Lorenzo Lore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but bocaneco fc's Fulgencio Mannie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 85 played minutes Mogotes got a freekick which was hit by Matias Elazar. After some careless play in the bocaneco fc defense, Lorenzo Lore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulgencio Mannie. The bocaneco fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Mannie should have stopped the shot.
