The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maquinistas Navales's Salvador Marsh got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Leoncio's late challenge caught a Maquinistas Navales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Leoncio helped the player get up and apologised. 6 minutes into the game, one of C.S.D. Barranca Yaco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Silvio Rito was slow to take the kick. During this time Maquinistas Navales's players had a chance to rest. After 13 played minutes C.S.D. Barranca Yaco got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Lorien. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Rubinho Valladares put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Martin Berdoi. Martin Berdoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's Martin Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Shearer in the 21st minute of play. Martin Berdoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dyllen Widdepenninck went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute, Rubinho Valladares made a precise shot to the right of Martin Berdoi. C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Silvio Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maquinistas Navales's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Rito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Berdoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 minutes of play, Maquinistas Navales's Alan Shearer made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Berdoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleuterio Argoitz during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's Eleuterio Argoitz got a free kick in the 40th minute. Alan Shearer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Maquinistas Navales's Albano Vitin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Berdoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rubinho Valladares to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's Ezequiel Heriberto got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Rubinho Valladares lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Martin Berdoi. C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Alan Shearer scored to the left of an out of position Martin Berdoi, making the score, 0-8. In the 66th minute, Silvio Rito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Berdoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's Martin Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Shearer in the 70th minute of play. Martin Berdoi came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Maquinistas Navales's Silvio Rito. But to his dismay, Silvio Rito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Alan Shearer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Rubinho Valladares got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's Martin Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Shearer in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Benito Ugaitz notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's Martin Berdoi. Martin Berdoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Silvio Rito fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 85th minute, Alan Shearer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Ceferino Lucila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maquinistas Navales the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.S.D. Barranca Yaco's Ceferino Lucila got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Maquinistas Navales's Alan Shearer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Berdoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Maquinistas Navales's Alan Shearer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martin Berdoi. Martin Berdoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. If Rubinho Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
