In the 13th match minute, Nuipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Camerino to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Benito Ugaitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marco Garaile. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 20th minute, Rubinho Valladares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Garaile was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 28th minute Hector Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Cordarryl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Rubinho Valladares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Garaile was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 33 minutes into the match, Nuipi's goalkeeper Marco Garaile had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubinho Valladares. Marco Garaile made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Silvio Rito sent off a good shot on target. Marco Garaile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvio Rito took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Garaile. Marco Garaile dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 42nd minute, Maquinistas Navales's Benito Ugaitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. Rubinho Valladares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Garaile came out and tried to block the shot, but Rubinho Valladares slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

Maquinistas Navales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Shearer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 minutes of play, Maquinistas Navales's Silvio Rito made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Garaile was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the match, Nuipi's Hector Saturnin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prospero Cordarryl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Valladares in the 64th minute of play forced Nuipi's goalkeeper Marco Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Silvio Rito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Garaile was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Nuipi's goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho Valladares came free, but Marco Garaile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Benito Ugaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Garaile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Rubinho Valladares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Garaile.
