In the 23rd minute, Atilano Benino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Juega Duro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Ignado came free, but Melchor Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Benino in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Osoro saved Juega Duro FC from getting behind. Benicio Oinaz charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio Oinaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Club River Plate's Benicio Oinaz got a free kick in the 41st minute. Marcial Sesuldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alonzo Eliazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Club River Plate getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Celestino Goren hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Celestino Goren's late challenge caught a Juega Duro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Goren helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club River Plate getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Celestino Goren hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Juega Duro FC's Gervasio Nahia in action when he in the 59th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!
