Spectators: 6788 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1688, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Romulo Bordat got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Hector Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Montrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Nuipi defense, Romulo Bordat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Garaile. The Nuipi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Garaile should have stopped the shot. Nuipi's Marco Garaile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Bordat in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Romulo Bordat made a precise shot to the right of Marco Garaile. Nuipi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Cipriano Montrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Saturnin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Cipriano Montrell managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Nuipi's Hector Saturnin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edelmiro Camerino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cipriano Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Marcial Damario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Saturnin got free with Cipriano Montrell in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Cambranes came free, but Cipriano Montrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Cambranes hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Hector Saturnin sped through Saladillo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cipriano Montrell. Nuipi's Marco Garaile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Euloxu in the 38th minute of play. Marco Garaile came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Saladillo's Romulo Bordat. But to his dismay, Romulo Bordat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When Saladillo's Romulo Bordat in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nuipi's goalie prevented a goal. 47 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goalkeeper Cipriano Montrell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Sustrai. After the first half Saladillo were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Hector Saturnin made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Nuipi's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Hurko came free, but Marco Garaile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rdth minute of the game Hector Saturnin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saladillo's Cipriano Montrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santos Cambranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cipriano Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Saturnin in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cipriano Montrell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cipriano Montrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Saturnin in the 67th minute of play. Cipriano Montrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Saturnin, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Nuipi's Hector Saturnin in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saladillo's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Hector Saturnin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cipriano Montrell was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Saladillo's zone, Santos Cambranes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Montrell came out of the goal and Santos Cambranes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Montrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Saturnin, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Saladillo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
