Spectators: 7382 (Terracing: 5538, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 147) Edgard Estevez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Adan Endura hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Maquinistas Navales's Silvio Rito tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Anselmo Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Shearer in the 9th minute of play. Maquinistas Navales's Silvio Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Edgard Estevez came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the CA Ituzaingo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Estevez couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Estevez in the 21st minute of play forced Maquinistas Navales's goalkeeper Prospero Cordarryl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CA Ituzaingo's Anselmo Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Shearer in the 25th minute of play. Anselmo Abarca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Rito in the 29th minute. Silvio Rito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Abarca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Prospero Cordarryl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Anselmo Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Shearer in the 33rd minute of the match. After 38 played minutes CA Ituzaingo got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Estevez. 41 minutes into the game, Albano Vitin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maquinistas Navales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Ituzaingo the free kick. Albano Vitin kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Anselmo Abarca came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Maquinistas Navales's Silvio Rito. But to his dismay, Silvio Rito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Benito Ugaitz hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Rubinho Valladares made the kick off in the second half. Silvio Rito struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Anselmo Abarca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maquinistas Navales. After 59 played minutes Maquinistas Navales got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Porfirio. In the 62nd minute Silvio Rito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Maquinistas Navales's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Guzman came free, but Prospero Cordarryl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Cordarryl was a little too slow when Edgard Estevez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-1. Desiderio Guzman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Prospero Cordarryl made a huge save. Prospero Cordarryl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CA Ituzaingo booed when Maquinistas Navales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Porfirio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, CA Ituzaingo's Desiderio Guzman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Alan Shearer struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Anselmo Abarca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maquinistas Navales. CA Ituzaingo's Anselmo Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Valladares in the 88th minute of play. When Valentin Duardo fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Ituzaingo's protests and gave Valentin Duardo a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Duardo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Anselmo Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Shearer in the 90th minute of the match. After 94 minutes, Eduardo Cloyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Ituzaingo and the Maquinistas Navales players grew even worse after the yellow card. 94 minutes into the game, one of CA Ituzaingo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. CA Ituzaingo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
