But to his dismay, Zacarias Joanes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ataque e Injusticia's Adolfo Ramond was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.

Delmar Artal might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Olof Hellström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmar Artal ran back to his position shaking his head. Leones FC's Sven-Olof Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Mendiko in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Ataque e Injusticia booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Iraido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Adolfo Ramond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Olof Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Artal, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Adolfo Ramond scored 5-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Olof Hellström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ataque e Injusticia's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Artal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Olof Hellström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Ramond came free, but Sven-Olof Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Ramond in the 83rd minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Ramond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Hellström having to interfere. In the 94th minute Delmar Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Olof Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
