Anibal Artizar ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the game, one of Corrientes Parque Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Cordarrel was the one to do the kick off. If Candido Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ciclón de Florida's zone, Wilfredo Cordarrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Rufio came out of the goal and Wilfredo Cordarrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicanor Madaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Ostots in the 89th minute of play. Anibal Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Madaleno having to interfere. Nicanor Madaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Artizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute of the match Jimeno Restu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicanor Madaleno skillfully saved the ball. Candido Ostots struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Nicanor Madaleno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciclón de Florida. Ciclón de Florida's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
