After 6 minutes, Felipe Sauveur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taquello FC and the Corrientes Parque Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silverio Gonchan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Tiburcio Eliu came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Corrientes Parque Club's Wilfredo Cordarrel. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Cordarrel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Corrientes Parque Club getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Marcial Cordarrol hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Wilfredo Cordarrel made a precise shot to the right of Tiburcio Eliu. Taquello FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Tiburcio Eliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Porfirio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Diego Guillen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, Corrientes Parque Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Gonchan to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Guillen in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicanor Madaleno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Taquello FC's Ubaldo Ishmael got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 46th minute, Mario Porfirio made a precise shot to the right of Tiburcio Eliu. Taquello FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.

The wind increased when Diego Guillen made the kick off in the second half. Tiburcio Eliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute of the match Silverio Gonchan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiburcio Eliu skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Giro during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Taquello FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Severo Giro hit a great ball. A long shot from Silverio Gonchan in the 73rd minute of play was well struck, but Tiburcio Eliu made a really good save at the right post. Corrientes Parque Club's Nicanor Madaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Guillen in the 75th minute of play. After 76 minutes of play Corrientes Parque Club's Inocencio Norino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Inocencio Norino hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Taquello FC's Tiburcio Eliu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Taquello FC from getting a goal against them. Tiburcio Eliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Cordarrel in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Corrientes Parque Club got a corner. Taquello FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silverio Gonchan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Silverio Gonchan made a great header on Corrientes Parque Club's corner, it was just that Taquello FC's Tiburcio Eliu managed to reach the ball for a save. Corrientes Parque Club played a much better game than Taquello FC and deserved their victory. The Taquello FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
