Conrado Senin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th match minute, Taquello FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Sauveur to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Lon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Zacarias Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Lon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Taquello FC's zone, Isaac Hibai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Eliu came out of the goal and Isaac Hibai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Severo Giro fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taquello FC's protests and gave Severo Giro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pericotes booed when Taquello FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Giro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Pericotes's Marcelo Tartalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiburcio Eliu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 39 minutes into the match, Taquello FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Eliu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Hibai. Taquello FC's Tiburcio Eliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Gartzi in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Lixandro in the 48th minute of play forced Taquello FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Eliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Guillen to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Taquello FC's Eliseo Precioso got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Isaac Hibai's late challenge caught a Taquello FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Hibai helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Taquello FC booed when Pericotes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
