Xl Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Botello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Lauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, calcius FC's Victoriano Mano got a free kick in the 12th minute. calcius FC's Amadeo Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Fe in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Victoriano Mano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Xl Team's Ruperto Abascal made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo Lauro was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruperto Abascal in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Lauro saved calcius FC from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, calcius FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Fe came free, but Amadeo Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Lauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Abascal in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute of the game, Mateo Guillelmo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 31 minutes into the game, Patricio Roldan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. calcius FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xl Team the free kick. After a rather tough play, calcius FC's Patricio Roldan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 47th minute, Ruperto Fe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Victoriano Mano made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, calcius FC's Amadeo Lauro got control of the ball when Ruperto Abascal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xl Team's Benedicto Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Mano in the 58th minute of play forced Xl Team's goalkeeper Erubiel Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Rius's late challenge caught a calcius FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Rius helped the player get up and apologised. When Severino Gombal fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xl Team's protests and gave Severino Gombal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of calcius FC booed when Xl Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Gombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erubiel Cordeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Oalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erubiel Cordeal had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Isidro Damario's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 81 minutes into the match, calcius FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Lauro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Abascal. 83 minutes into the match, Xl Team's Severino Gombal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Lauro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruperto Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Erubiel Cordeal was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Xl Team left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than calcius FC.
